Mt. Robson – 3954 meters

Come join me and climb the most famous route in the Rockies! The Kain Face of Mt. Robson-3954m/12969 ft. This majestic mountain is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and when you stand on the summit you truly feel like you are on top of the world. This gem is the most sought after peak because of its beauty, challenges and the remoteness that the mountain offers.

We will be flown in by Yellow Head Helicopters, either to Berg Lake or the Dome, which sits beneath the classic Kain Face. The cost will be based on flying with Yellow Head Helicopters, but if you feel that the cost exceeds your budget, we can always hike in; the cost will decrease, but the time will increase.

Once the booking has been made, and I have received your deposit, an information package will be sent to you; which will include the itinerary, the waiver of liability that needs to be read and understood, an equipment check list, and the meeting time and place.

The cost is based on 6 days. The extra days are for acclimatization and for inclement weather. If we climb Robson early, there is the possibility of flying out early and climbing another classic around Jasper; for instance the East Ridge of Edith Cavel.

Difficulty:

Glacier traveling and snow and ice climbing up to 45 degrees. It is an expedition - meaning that you need to have some experience in winter camping. Some experience climbing with crampons is mandatory.

Fitness Level:

A high level of fitness will increase your chance for being successful, and also enhance your enjoyment. If you have any questions about you fitness, feel free to contact me at any time.

Package Includes:

• Return Helicopter flight
• Technical equipment: climbing ropes, Tents, stoves, pots, satellite phone (detailed equipment check list will be sent)

• Transportation

I can arrange a shuttle upon request, however it will be extra.

CAD dollars. Subject to 5% GST.

2 people - $2270.00/person

Cancellation policies:

The deposit less 10% is refundable up to 90 days prior to trip commencement. From 60 to 90 days the deposit is refundable less 15%. For cancellations within 60 days of trip commencement, there is no refund unless you can find a replacement. If Great Divide Mountaineering cancels the trip, you will receive a 100% refund.

If the balance is less than $500.00, I will need the full amount to reserve your spot. The refund is the same as the above.
