Canada offers some of the most varied and unspoiled skiing terrain in the world. Nothing surpasses the steep and deep, awe-inspiring Selkirk Mountains. Canada is home to an incredible network of hut systems, and most of them are accessible with a quick helicopter flight. From the splendor of West Coast to the famous Roger’s Pass, there is terrain for all skiing abilities and comfort levels.
Just imagine yourself returning to a warm, cozy hut after an immeasurable day of skiing untracked powder. The smoke is rising from the sauna cabin and the après-ski treats are on the table, prepared tastefully by Kelly Mager of Backcountry Bistro. Skiing with old friends and meeting new friends as you celebrate the majestic beauty of the mountains is what a week with us is all about.
The season runs from the end of December to the beginning of May. Generally, you will experience deep, dry powder in the early season and “corn” skiing later on. However, it is common to ski deep, dry powder as late as April and May. Early in the year the days are shorter and colder and as the season progresses, the days grow longer giving you more opportunity to ski maximum vertical while still having time to enjoy the last rays of the sun on the deck.
After booking a trip, you will receive an information package. The package will include waivers, gear checklists and logistics.
